Description

This Capacitor Acts As A Snubber When Connected To The Control Coil Of A Power Switching Device. The Inductive Nature Of Control Coils Can Cause Feed Back Voltage To The Control Voltage Source.  Electronic Devices Such As Process / Temperature Controllers Can Be Damaged From Voltage Feed Back.  The Snubber Can Provide A Short Term Current Path To Safely Discharge Any Electrical Noise Around The Power Switching Device.
