Is a major brand distributor of industrial products since 1980, MROcrib.com stocks components used in manufacturing equipment in the U.S and Mexico. Our product categories include Pneumatic, Electric, Hydraulic, and Electro-Mechanical as well as Tool-Room supplies. The company serves the MRO needs of maquiladoras located throughout Mexico and Central America.
The company’s policy of providing its personnel with continuous product training has produced a highly knowledgeable technical support staff. Qualified staff together with the company’s Quality Assurance System provides a consistently reliable and competitive solution to customer’s requirements.
Our History
Industrial Electric Supply was originally founded to supply electric components used in the infrastructure of new buildings being constructed for American manufacturers relocating to Matamoros, Mexico across from Brownsville, Texas. The main products were distribution panels, transformer substations, building wiring and lighting. The downfall of the Mexican economy in 1980 together with the political uncertainty of the day led to a decrease of new construction in Matamoros.
The company refocused its marketing efforts to the replacement of electric components used in manufacturing equipment. Customers’ requirements increasingly ranged beyond electric components, which led the company to supply non-electric components and in 1988 the company name was changed to Industrial & Electric Supply Co. to reflect its expansion of product offerings.
Our Market
The company’s area of distribution currently extends the entire USA/Mexico border and includes some manufacturers in Argentina. Customers are drawn from various manufacturing sectors such as automotive, appliance, electronics, cosmetics, medical, and plastics. The product mix focuses on components used in the maintenance of manufacturing equipment. Specialization in thermal systems and motor control is primary.
