Resistance Temperature Detectors (RTDs) Are Characterized By A Linear Change In Resistance With Respect To Temperature. Compared To Thermocouples The RTD Is More Accurate With Repeatable Accuracy And Stability. Applications Cover A Wide Operating Range From -328°F Up To 1200°F.
